Martin Young, M.S., L.P.C., N.C.C.

Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of
Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from
Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and a Master of Science in Counseling
Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg,
MS. Martin has more then 15 years of experience as a therapist and
clinical supervisor of behavioral health services. He has worked with
children, adolescents and adult clients in both outpatient and
inpatient settings. Martin came to Franklin Family Services in July
2010 and currently shares his time between the Chambersburg and
Carlisle offices. His clinical areas of interest include Attention
Deficit Disorders (with and without Hyperactivity), Anxiety,
Depression and Recovery from Trauma and Abusive Relationships. Martin
generally uses Cognitive Behavioral Strategies in therapy, focusing on
helping his clients to mobilize their strengths and resources toward
reaching their goals. |
