Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my treatment be confidential?
All therapists adhere to a strict code of confidentiality which protects the client from the release of information about the client without his/her written consent.

How much do services cost?
Costs for professional services are comparable with other private counseling centers in the area. Certain services require the payment of a retainer.

Will insurance coverage pay for services?
Most of our clients have some type of health insurance that will reimburse them a percentage of the cost after they satisfy their deductible and/or co-payment. Our practice is a recognized provider of services for most major insurance carriers, and a preferred provider for many Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs). You may be responsible for procuring an authorization from your insurance company for the initial visit; however, as a participating provider, we are responsible for requesting future authorizations and for filing claims. Assistance will be provided in filing insurance forms with insurance companies in which we are contracted.

How long does therapy last?
While each individual’s situation is different, so too is the time necessary to successfully attain each person’s goals. Clients help identify their goals and objectives in partnership with their therapist. Together they determine the length and frequency of service.
