J. Scott Trayer, D.O.
(Chambersburg / Carlisle)
Dr. Trayer earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA. He completed his
pre-med requirements at Castleton State College in Castleton, VT and
earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, specializing in Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry, from the University of New England College of
Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. Dr. Trayer completed his
internship with Community Hospital of Lancaster in Lancaster, PA and
his residency at West Virginia University School of Medicine,
Department of Psychiatry in Morgantown, WV. He has been practicing
psychiatry since 1994 providing psychiatric evaluations, medication
management, and behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and
adults. In addition to Dr. Trayer’s specialty of Child and Adolescent
Psychiatry, his clinical areas of interest include Pervasive
Developmental Disorders, Disorders of Attachment, Mood Disorders, and
Thought Disorders. He also has interest in issues of adoption. |
